Harmon Business Consulting allows consumers to affirmatively opt to subscribe to our website. If a consumer opts to subscribe, they provide us with their name and email address. If the consumer purchases one of our business products, they will also provide us with their phone number. These consumers and subscribers receive emails with announcements from our company such as new offerings, blog posts, events, sales, and other company related information. In addition, when a consumer makes a purchase, Harmon Business Consulting collects their name and address to allow us to ship their purchases. Harmon Business Consulting collects geographic data to help us determine where we should target our sales and marketing initiatives. Harmon Business Consulting does not share or sale consumer information to third-party persons or entities.
When consumers no longer wish to receive communications from Harmon Business Consulting, they may unsubscribe using the unsubscribe link provided in our email communications. In addition, upon verifiable request, consumers have the right to have the personal information we’ve collected deleted with the following exceptions to: (1) compute the transaction for which the personal information was collected, provide a good or service requested by the consumer, or reasonably anticipated within the context of a business’s ongoing business relationship with the consumer, or otherwise perform a contract between the business and the consumer; (2) detect security incidents; protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity; or prosecute those responsible for that activity; (3) debug to identify and repair errors existing intended functionality; (4) exercise free speech, ensure the right of another consumer to exercise his/her right of free speech, or exercise another right provided for by law; (5) comply with the California Electronic Communications Privacy Act; (6) engage in public or peer-received scientific, historical, or statistical research in the public interest; (7) to enable solely internal uses that are reasonably aligned with the expectations of the consumer based on the consumer’s relationship with the business; (8) comply with a legal obligation; (9) otherwise use the consumer’s personal information, internally, in a lawful manner that is compatible with the context in which the consumer provided the information.
Consumers will not be discriminated against for exercising any of the consumer’s rights, including by: (A) denying goods or services to the consumer; (B) charging different prices or rates for goods or services, including the use of discounts or other benefits or imposing penalties; (C) providing a different level or quality of goods or services to the consumer; or (D) suggesting that the consumer will receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services.
Requests for information about what information the business collects and what it does with the information, to delete any personal information collected; or to not be discriminated against can be made at on our contact us page on our website or by emailing us at inquiries@harmonbusinessconsulting.com. Viable requests will be responded to within 45 days at no cost to the consumer.
